With So Much at Stake in Science and Culture, You Need to Join Us for the Westminster Conference

Westminster

The recent March for Science and Bill Nye’s public performances speak volumes. We’ve plainly seen what’s at stake in the debate about real science versus scientism and science-flavored ideology. There is a struggle for the soul of the culture, two diametrically opposed views of human beings and our place in the universe. And that struggle is being waged in scientific terms.

That’s one reason we’re so excited about this year’s Westminster Conference on Science and Faith. The conference is Friday and Saturday, May 12-13. If you’re anywhere near Philadelphia, this is the place to go to explore the evidence of purpose and design in life.

Registration is through May 11 only, so you must register now. Go here to do so. The location is Calvary Chapel of Delaware County in Chadds Ford, PA.

Questions of cosmic and biological origins aren’t of interest merely to experts – scientists and theologians – but to all of us who care about the future of our country, and of our world. We all need to understand the fascinating, and challenging, science that undergirds public controversies right now. If you don’t understand that science, you’ll be compelled to sit on the sidelines and let folks like Bill Nye decide the future.

The lineup of speakers is stellar, highlighted by scientists and scholars from Discovery Institute. Provocative themes for discussion include physicist Brian Miller on “Thermodynamics and Life,” protein chemist Douglas Axe on “The Intuition of Design and Its Confirmation” and “The Truth about Natural Selection: Quantifying the Difficulty of Protein to Protein Evolution,” biologist Jonathan Wells on “Zombie Science: Icons of Evolution Old and New,” and political scientist John West on “The Impact of Science on Faith: What New Survey Research Shows.”

There’s no substitute for interacting personally with the top researchers and scientists who are challenging oppressive evolutionary orthodoxy head-on. That’s why the Westminster Conference is always a highlight of the year.

More information is here. A tentative schedule is here. We’ll look forward to seeing you there!
